on a foggy friday night these two eloped at the beach.
it wasn’t the wedding they planned on having. they had booked a brand new venue and were scheduled to be the first couple ever to get married there, but due to covid restrictions, they canceled their big wedding and headed to the beach.
it wasn’t the dress she thought she’d get married in, she found this one on facebook marketplace 48 hours prior.
it wasn’t the hair she thought she’d have done on her wedding day, she watched a youtube tutorial and did an updo herself.
nothing was as they had planned, but it was one of the most joy-filled, intimate, pure, Christ-centered celebrations of marriage I have ever witnessed.
as the fog rolled in they read their vows, with waves crashing behind them they shed quiet tears, they laughed and danced and shouted for joy, & they started off a lifelong marriage the best way possible: hand in hand standing before God and His creation.
weddings might be canceled, but love certainly is not.
"COVID affects a lot of things, but when you’re ready to get married- you gotta still get married. Eloping was so nice because it was just us, and those most close to us. God took care of the rest! We couldn’t have planned it better"

alison + emrah have been together for six years, through so many seasons and phases of life, and this was their first time ever getting professional photos taken together. they laughed and giggled their way through this engagement photo session, and they love & comfort that they've developed for each other other the past six years is illustrated in every image.
this adventurous, boho photo session took as all over Joshua Tree National Park from the mountains, to the cactus gardens, and across the desert. we explored and laughed and captured candid moments and amazing views. I love getting to discover new places with cute couples and capture memories!!
zach & tyler are the cutest couple. we had so much fun frolicking around the beach, capturing their love and giggles. this foggy sunset photoshoot was intimate, adventurous, and so much fun.
ps can you spot her CUTE baby bump?! can’t wait for them to meet their little boy!!
Up in the mountain range of Malibu, California sits Cielo Farms Winery, a beautiful family-owned estate. This was the setting for Maddie & Connor's boho elopement, their wedding was effortlessly beautiful and has been featured on Wandering Weddings and My Engaged Life. Vineyards, Cypress trees, and Italian details came together with the Grace Loves Lace bridal gown, Edie, to create a gorgeous and adventurous destination wedding.
a gorgeous couple, an amazing location, and a priceless proposal. I can't believe I get to capture moments like this!! what an honor!
sarah + james I adore you two and your love for each other! from writing letters to each other for months while you were apart, to supporting each others dreams and careers, your love is so evident and you make each other better people.
I'm so excited that you're saying yes to forever!! love you both! congrats!!
after spending just an hour with these two, it's so obvious that they were made for each other. I've known Regan for years now, we danced together in high school, and I've never seen her so happy & so fully herself than when she's with Tyler. I had so much fun capturing their love in my cozy apartment. in-home photo sessions are such a great way to capture authentic, candid moments.
I'm beyond excited for them to tie the knot. congrats you two!!
jordan & jake were the ideal couple to photograph; they were fun, giggly, and adventurous enough to climb wherever I asked them to! lol! this mountainous, desert engagement photo vibe was candid and full of natural moments.
I love it when couples are up for anything and trust my view from behind the camera (: congrats on your engagement & I can't wait for your wedding!!
brie + mitch are one of those couples that knows what they want and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. mitch built a wiffle ball field in his parents backyard years ago, and brie + mitch always knew that this was the place they'd get married. on a crisp fall day, all of their family + friends cozied up in their backyard for a sweet, intimate ceremony. every detail came together in a way that perfectly represents brie + mitch, and I think this is how weddings should be. brie is one of my best friends and I can't begin to explain how special it was to capture her day and see her so happy. congrats you two!! your wedding was truly wonderful.
pop the champagne, she's changing her last name!! this engagement session with janae + nate was so so much fun. they were giggly and up for whatever crazy ideas I had. I love when clients get excited to bring props, especially when those props are bubbly!! congrats you two!
